Holiday in King's Lynn

Hi,

I'm thinking to come to King's Lynn with my family for a family visit in July. Can you please suggest any places to visit?

Thanks

I love Lynn

the town itself has a medieval history,

nearby?

Sandringham ( a royal residence with great walks)

and the whole of North Norfolk.

beautiful coastal villages made of flint

market towns.

miles and miles of empty windswept beaches (try Holkham)

or kiss me quick (Hunstanton)

farm parks at Snettisham

you couldnt choose better for a holiday.

We want to visit Norwich by car...what is the best time to leave Kings'lyn and return back from Norwich avoiding traffic?

Can you please let me know where is the best place to park the car so that we won't enter the city... we can even walk a bit to the centre. Thanks:)

King's Lynn to Norwich is under an hour by car, like most places in England, traffic is busy going into town centres around 9 am and leaving around 5pm.

Norwich has a decent park and ride system but I havent been into the city centre for several years, someone else may know which one is best.

Why don't you visit Norwich by bus - Service X1 runs from King's Lynn to Norwich every 30 minutes? No problems with parking! In fact you can use to Coasthopper bus to explore the whole of the North Norfolk coast from Hunstanton to Cromer.

If you're coming by car, there are several P&Rs more or less on the A47.

If you the Costessey park (pronounced Cossey!) make sure you get the right bus - service 10 only goes to the hospital.
