Please can you tell me how to get to Cardigan if I am not driving. Coming from Manchester area, where would I get a train to and then what would I getfrom there. Many thanks.
Or you can get a train to Haverfordwest and a regular bus service run to Cardigan
Whichever route you take it may be a bit long winded,
1) as debb said, train to shrewsbury , then on to Aberystwyth, then normal service bus to cardigan(about 35 miles),
2) as gorllewin has said train to h/west , then bus to cardigan( about 30 miles), this would I think entail train to cardiff or swansea from manchester.
3) third choice is coach from Manchester to Shrewsbury, then coach or train to aberystwyth, then the bus to Cardigan.
Threr is no easy way really, think it will take you 6/8 hours whichever you choose
Thank you all so much for your help. I think I will try this trip in the summer holidays when I have more time off and break the journey up by staying over night in Shrewsbury :o)
