Child seats?

We will be traveling to Easter Island with our three year old and are wondering whether we will find child seats for biking? Any other toddler considerations or tips gratefully received!

There's only a limited supply for child seats in case of bikes so it's advisable to take a child seat with you.

You must take a child seat for vehicles anyway so you might end up traveling with 2 seats but at least you do not have to trust your luck.

However, since the weather of the island changes VERY rapidly, biking with a 3 year old is advisable only as an alternate way to move around in Hanga Roa and near areas.

Depending the season, you might get plenty of sun (+50 factor solar protection required), short showers of rain and relatively strong wind (high places).

If I were you, I'd consider rent-a-car or tours, instead, but if you're well prepared biking with a child is not impossible, either.
