tsetses in Moremi?

We are going to Moremi in April but can find little info. on tsetses. Last 2 years in Zambia we got munched even tho' we thought we were adequately protected. Any info and effective protection ideas (if there are any) would be welcome.............Really want to see how things look in the green season, any spectacles to be aware of?

I'm not sure there is much you can do about them.

There is or was an eradictaion programme in the Delta - imregnated blue flags to kill them - so don't wear blue: it attracts them....

I don't think I've ever seen a tsetse in Botswana, and I was there for 3 months in 2010. I think the eradication program has been successful.

We certainly didn't have a problem with the savage little beggars last July/August.

I haven't seen a single tsetse in Bostwana while I was there - I believe they have been eradicated out of Moremi.
