Hi Chantal,. many species of whale and dolphin can been encountered in Ha'apai and although certain migratory species are seasonal other species may be encountered throughout the year. A visit in march could still result in a whale sighting, a Dwarf Minke Whale for example - this is a beautiful and close relative of the more seasonal Humpback Whale. Pacific spinner dolphins, a smaller member of the cetacean family can be encountered all year and this is pretty awesome too. We hope you enjoy the ocean in March!
