Lake Ol Loiden in Naivasha

There is a hidden gem in Naivasha, Lake Ol Loiden, an alkaline lake that used to be part of the greater fresh water lake. Its located on the western side of the lake. Today is used as a stopover point by the flamingoes that migrate to lake Natron in Tanzania from Nakuru. The place is public and any one can visit the place for picnic sto enjoy the beauty it offers.

Are you sure Oloiden is alkaline? I think you might be confusing it with the Green Crater Lake? That really is hidden, whereas Oloiden is very visible and still ordinary fresh water as far as I know. It was only separated from the main lake by falling lake levels a couple of decades ago.
