You'll pay no more than you will in a decent restaurant or bar in UK. The choice will be mainly from SA so check a few out in the UK before you leave home.

You will be looking at around £20 upwards a bottle/carafe in the hotel. It is expensive but almost opposite is a small supermarket with a good selection of wine and further down the road is the big Nakumat. Outside the hotel you will pay around a quarter of the hotel price

We always have a 5 litre box of Drodsty-Hof Claret on the go in the apartment - around 2,800/- (the equivalent of around £2.85 a bottle) from Nakumatt. Its very acceptable, even when its warmer than the ideal temperature (which it is most of the time)
