Need the printer to print documents whilst on a trip to the Philippines.
you could as long as you arent over your baggage limit but i dont know why you would, the cost of printing in the philippines is so cheap it wouldnt be worth lugging a big printer around
Most hotels also offer printing services.
Many internet shops surrounding schools/universities in CDO are even offering ₱1/page or ₱3/page if colored so even if you will print 150 pages it will cost you less than the equivalent of $10 and locals call those as "piso print." I have a friend there who owns a piso print shop and that's the price his offering to his customers. You can also buy a brand new Canon printer as low as ₱2300.
Very cheap to print in an internet cafe, at least in my experience.
Just hand over your flash drive, show them what to print, and they will print it.
Thank you, I just don't want any bother with customs.
Thank you, very helpful.
if you don't want bother with customs then walk past them however if you are stopped and asked if you have anything to declare then if you are importing you may be liable to duty but if you are a visitor which I suspect you are not and are taking the printer on vacation with you then if they accept this explaination then no duty is payeable
National Book stores do it as well for a nominal, but worthwhile fee.Edited: 26 July 2017, 12:47
If it's not too much, then just have it printed here. But if you'll be printing a whole lot, Kegler's suggestions is a viable option. Just get a printer here. Printers aren't too expensive but the ink is a bit pricey. So you can probably just bring inks. Just to give you an idea of printer prices:
