Sumidoro en paz?

It has been suggested, on another TripAdvisor forum, that the standard Sumidoro Canyon trip consists of racing up and back, in two hours, with the occasional 2 minute stop for a quick look-see at something memorable. A. Is this generally true? B. Are there tour operators who offer something different? C. Or is the only real option to offer double the price for a four hour trip and bring your own refreshments? Gracias for your suggestions.

Some of the boats stop at a restaurant near the dam for an hour or so. Any tour agency would be able to arrange that trip if you request it, or you could go to Chiapa de Corzo independently and ask the different boat operators about the itinerary.
