Sports bars in Cabarete / Sosua

Hi there, I'm in Cabarete at the end of the month when the Man United vs Barcelona final is on. Gutted to be missing out on Wembley but this was booked a year ago so can't be helped!

Can anyone recommend a good sports bar that will be showing the match in either Cabarete / Sosua? Big screen preferred but not crucial!

The Irish bar in the center of Cabarete will probably have it on.

Kahunnah's is also a sports bar - just down from the other - lower priced drinks.

Few more options for ya in Sosua! Here's just a few popular favorites...

Eddy's Sports Bar - Huge TV, and for major sporting events, bigger crowds, with a mix of locals and tourists cheering for their teams.

Rumba Bar on Pedro Clisante in Sosua has several big-screen TVs showing sporting events... although you'd likely not HEAR any of it, what with the accompanying blaring bachata, but it is an interesting spot for enjoying sports with the local Dominicans who come for the musica and stay for the cheap and cold Presidentes...

El Centro Hotel's bar (no website), just across the street from Rumba, is another option. Tho not a large screen TV, they always have soccer on smaller TVs above the bar - and it's always a good spot for meeting other tourists and ex-pats alike to share a laugh over a Presidente or three...

Wilson's Sports Bar (no website) - but they do offer a big-screen TV for watching sporting events in addition to a pool table - and they serve inexpensive and quite tasty dishes to boot!

Enjoy, Buen Viaje - and Go Manchester United!!! :-)

For Sosua.

Eddy's has been closed up for a year now so don't go there.

Britania will also have it on

Hideaway bar also on a big screen.

My vote would be Kahuna's in Cabarete. We were there for the Hockey world cup and the place was crazy.
