Affordable accommodation in Puerto Pollensa

3 of us are taking a relaxing holiday to Puerto Pollensa but are finding it hard to get cheap accommodation. Could anybody help us with appartments or hotels. We know the area quite well and maybe round the area of the pine walk. Thank You.

You haven't stated when you are going. Properties at the Pine Walk end tend to be more expensive. Residencia Eolo is right in the centre of PP near the bus terminus and taxi rank. It is very convenient for transport, shopping, bars, marina and a beach if not the best beach.

As you are seeking cheap accommodation Eolo is worth a look. In late May rooms plus breakfast start at £37 per night. Rooms with SV are £42 pn. It is in a busy area so some noise is to be expected. Irish Bar (you may want a reminder of home) is 50 yds away.

We had a great value for money holiday during the Easter holidays at the Pollensa Park Hotel through Eclipse Direct part of First Choice (see my review). It was a case of keep checking the website and getting lucky with the price. We saved over £200 for the same date simply by flying from Exeter rather than other departure points. We booked about 6 weeks before departure. We missed an earlier bargain in November for the same holiday at Easter flying from Birmingham - it seems that once they are gone they are gone, so you need to keep checking. Just an idea.

I've stayed at the Eolo (8 times) when going with friends as its in a great location.

When I'm with hubby it's the Uyal as he thinks the Eolo is a bit basic but to be honest you can't beat the Eolo with breakfast incl. if you want a good cheap hotel. Ring direct and ask for Carlos.

From Eolo website their phone no for reservations is 34 971 8665 50. Phoning from UK I think there is 0 or 00 before the 34.e-mail is reserves@hoteleolo.com

It won't necessarily be cheaper to book direct than through a booking agency eg hotels.com or travel republic.

This simple hotel is in a great central location in PP probably the most convenient of all. The traffic noise can be a bind. Book a room with aircon or hire or,if you are staying for 2 weeks, buy a fan as it can be stifling. Breakfast is included in the room rate.I wouldn't take evening meal there as there is better value/quality available in the resort. It is worth paying for a sea view if only to get extra light in the room.As long as you know this is basic accommodation at a bargain (for Puerto Pollensa) price you won't be disappointed. There are some negative reviews but what do people expect for £60 a night B&B?
