The Tunnel

Have not been to Puerto Soller for a couple of Years.

Has the Tunnel been finished yet and the Esplanade along by the Eden and Esplendido Pedestrianised?

Also, does anyone know if the "Campo Sol is still going strong.

Yes the tunnel is open. It's pedestrianised along the whole sea front now with a lot of restaurants having put out decking over the old pavement. The top end of the port as far as the Generoso has been redone but the rest of the port has still got the old road. The left half is painted red for pedestrians and the other is for service vehicles and cyclists. There is still a debate as to whether they will move the tram to the centre of the road or leave it where it is. The tram price has gone up to 4 euros so I guess maybe all the extra money could be to fund the move. They are still talking of putting a boom out in the sea and making the beach extend round the whole bay.

Yes Campo Sol is still there.

Campo Sol is indeed still there but their chef has retired and the menu is considerably reduced. "Mama" is still there, though.
