Bus Stop to Soller

Hi, we arrive on Friday afternoon for two weeks. Our plan is to get a few essentials in the nearby supermarket and then go to Soller on Saturday morning to the market and supermarket. Can someone direct us to where we go to get the bus up to Soller? We will be staying at the Reptic Beach side of the resort.

Many thanks.

I think you`ll need to take the tram, which stops at the end of The Repic and runs frequently.

The bus goes from the harbour end of the port, and dosen`t stop until town so youve a fair walk to get it in the first place.

The tram takes you into the heart of town wheras the bus only goes to the Placa America.

Oops! Repic! Does the tram stop nearer to us? We are planning to take a taxi back with our shopping, is there a taxi stand in the Port for going up to Soller? Thanks.

If you want to visit the market in Soller centre on a Saturday, then I suggest you take the tram up to town. It stops opposite Es Glop ( turn right & walk up the promenade).

Then you will need to walk back towards the port to Eroski which is the largest supermarket in Soller town. Someone will help you with directions. There is a phone in the supermarket, connected to Soller taxis & it normally arrives within 5-10 mins...hope that helps

To find the bus stop in the port you need to walk up the street called Antoni Montis - it's the one with the paved walkway up the middle so you can't miss it and take the second turning on the left. The bus stop is on the right hand side by the park and opposite the car park. The taxi rank is in Antoni Montis on the left hand side by Viqi the hairdressers. If you are planning on going to the market first before the supermarket then you are best taking the tram (if you don't mind paying the 8 euros rather than 2.20 euros by bus) as it will take you straight to the market whereas it's about a 10 minute walk from the bus stop in Soller. There is a tram stop right by the Repic beach although expect the tram to be crowded as it's market day. The bus stop in Soller is very near the Eroski supermarket - just walk up the road from the supermarket, turn right and cross over the road and you will see the small bus station. You can load your shopping in the bus hold but then you have the problem of walking right round the port with it so as you say it's best to get a taxi back.

Thank you for the very helpful replies. We will take the tram up and get a taxi back, just thought the bus might have been faster, but not if we have to walk carrying shopping!!

Almost all packed up and ready to go! Really looking forward to our relaxing break. Thanks again for all your help.
