Transport to Ontario Arprt from Beverly Hills/West Hollywood

Is anyone aware of any shuttles or public transportation options to get to Ontario Airport from Beverly Hills/West Hollywood? If not, are there any other options aside from a taxi?

Thanks!

Well, the public transit option would be a combination of using the LA Metro, the Metrolink Trains, and then a public bus to the airport.

But it is multiple buses, trains, and subway (Red Line), so not the easiest, nor the fastest.

Main options

a) shared van shuttle - you didn't say exactly where in W. Hollywood or Beverly Hills you'd be departing from, but looks like about $63 for the first passenger and $10 for each additional passenger from one hotel in Beverly Hills that I checked, and the same price from a W. Hollywood hotel that I also checked. The van may detour to pick up or drop off other passengers. www.primetimeshuttle.com or www.supershuttle.com

b) taxi - would not suggest this - the distance will be 45 - 50 miles which would translate to a taxi fare of at least $135 and more likely something north of $150.

c) public transit - likely to be very time consuming. I think the best you can easily do is to get to Union Station in downtown LA (how to do so depends on exactly where in Beverly Hills or West Hollywood you're starting from), then from Union Station take the Metrolink train to the East Ontario station, then from there get a taxi which should cost $10 or $15 to the airport. This would be the cheapest but probably would take the longest.

Do you have a particular need to fly out of ONT? You might try BUR which is far closer to West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, or even LAX?
