Hot spring mud river

Hello we are going to stay at the allegro papagayo in mid October. We will be renting a car so don't want to book a full on excursion. Is it possible to show up at a place like hacienda GuachIplein and get a day pass. Or is it something you need to book ahead of time. Also is there a price guide for something like this?

Yes you can book directly with Hacienda Gauchipelin--their website gives you a good idea of the different activities that are offered. The drive from Liberia is easy and flat--once you leave the pavement it was pretty bumpy in spots...I booked ahead with them, but you can also just show up.The price appeared to be the same--but by booking ahead our day was organized for us when we arrived. Upon arrival we checked in and were introduced to our guide--then our day started. There were people arriving without reservations, and that process appeared to be taking longer to get everything set up.

We did a private hike with a guide in the National Park, rode horses, white water tubed and enjoyed the hot springs/volcanic mud. Included was a basic buffet lunch. It was a fun day!

MsAlaska Guachipelin has their own source for mud on site as Borinquen.

brown11 the road is being paid and its geeting close to Curubande Village, so the bumpy part is less now.

joesombody you can show up there directly with no reservation , but it is better to send an email to info@guachipelin.com
