CA drought

We are planning a trip for the first week of June 2014. We plan on staying in Carlsbad, hopefully at the Beach Terrace Inn. There have been lots of news reports about the awful drought in the west. Should we be concerned about visiting Carlsbad and surrounding area during this drought time? Any advice would be great.

Lived there through many droughts, WD :-)

And yes, the swimming pools will all still be full of water, and probably the golf courses will still be green . . .

As Scott said, drought is a way of life. Particularly in southern California.
