Hotel Or Condo for Xmas 2008

Hi,

We are a family of 4 going to Coronado for the 1st time Christmas 2008.

Can anyone give suggestions as to whether we should stay in a hotel (looking at the Marriot) or rent a condo or house please?

Since you have a hotel in mind then maybe have a look for an apartment to see if one looks good to you.

Have a look at www.vrbo.com for apartments/condos/house.

Generally, if you aee spenidng more time in this area(especially at Christmas) then a house rental has advantages and can be more cost effective. However, you might not want to be making beds during your holiday.

Enjoy!!

The Hotel Del Coronado is gorgeous at Christmas time. They have specials and packages at this time, we booked under the Winter Escape package which included breakfast and $20/day resort money. Have fun in San Diego! :)

Thanks for all the suggestions - have also been advised to wait a little closer to the time for booking hotels as specials\packages will be available. Looking forward to it!
