Hotels near Hotel del Coronado

Going to a work conference at Hotel Del Coronado April 10-15, 2011. Would like a budget hotel or condo in walking distance or short cab ride to Hotel del Coronado. Looking to spend $100-$150 night.

Thanks for tips!

hotels on coronado are more expensive,

the la avenida inn would be 159 a night for your dates, its on the same street as the hotel del and is about a 3 min walk from it.

Same suggestion than Happytotrip. La Avenida. Attention, it is not luxurious but not too expensive.

Look at the Crown City Inn, Coronado Inn, El Rancho and the Best Western.

We are staying at the Glorietta Bay Inn for 4 nights this summer, it is rated #2 as far as the hotels on coronado, and it's only a block from the Hotel Del, you can walk across the street to get there! Check it out...it's a historic hotel, the main part of it is called "the mansion" that was owned by John D Spreckels, who had a big part of founding Coronado island, but there are also out buildings like the ones we are staying at, 1 bedroom/2 bedroom suites. The prices are very reasonable and include breakfast. They have specials on their website. www.gloriettabayinn.com
