Traveling from the Fresno airport to Mineral Point trailhead in Sequoia...hopefully without a car...any ideas on a shuttle or renting a driver, etc? we are backpacking and the car would just sit..

Do you mean Mineral King (not Point) trailhead? I can't think of any trailhead called Mineral Point in Sequoia but I have seen some people mistakenly use that name for Mineral King.

Mineral King is off the public shuttle routes. The in-park and Visalia-Sequoia shuttles do not go there since it is about 25 miles (or 1 hour drive one-way).

Some of the High Sierra areas like Edison and Florence Lakes do have hiker shuttle service from Fresno. But I'm not familiar with any to the Mineral King area.

Sequoia Tours used to offer hiker van services but I do not see the service listed anymore on their website. You might contact them to see if they still have the service and if they do if the service meets your needs.
