June Lake in the Fall

Summer and Winter are the most popular seasons for fishing and skiing, but my favorite is Autumn. The air is crisp and the changing fall foliage is spectacular! If you've never seen this magnificent display of nature, you are missing out.

Check out The Haven for lodging. Clean, cozy and walking distance to the lakes.

Will be up at June Lake in a couple of weeks....(hope Tioga stays open through end October...).

Are the bears still going through the area? last year, the bear met us at the door at Carson Peak Restaurant.

Looking forward to seeing the fall colors - changing big time in the Eastern Sierra between now and end October.

Always fun....and also so close to Yosemite.

In the evening, one of the fun things is to enjoy dinner and a beer at Tiger Bar.

Old time charm...and some of the best fishing between now and mid November.

Note: There are many fun and cute places to stay in the area.
