Koh Rong Samloem and/or Otres Beach and how long

Hi there

appreciate your advice and opinion about the following:

are planning a total of 8 days at Sihanoukville and Koh Rong Samloem end of November

and have tentatively booked 3 nights at Tamu, Otres beach and then go for 5 nights

to Koh Rong Samloem to the Saracen Bay Hotel. The thought behind staying on Koh Rong

Samloem for 5 nights is that its a long way to get there, looks really beautiful and would like to have enough time there to relax. However I am not at all sure anymore if 5 nights would be too long. Also, what makes more sense (coming from Kep), to go to Samloem first or Otres or leave the one or the other out all together?

Thanks for your help.

You can get to koh rong samloem in 30 minutes from sihanoukville by speedboat ferry. Its nice there, but i would get bored after a couple of nights. While Otres is quiet its not as quiet as koh rong samloem, and its a quick ride to downtown sihanoukville and serendipity beach.
