Laguna beach trolley

Does the free trolley run near the Surf and Sand resort in the summer?? Or can you walk to downtown Laguna from the Surf and Sand resort??

If you are staying at the Surf and Sand, they probably have a shuttle for guests that can take you downtown. Most of the nicer places have their own shuttles, se stayed at the Best Western Laguna Reef last 4th of July weekend and they even have a shuttle that ran until midnight. Enjoy Laguna, it's a gorgeous area to spend time in! :)

The free shuttle runs between the 4th of July (approx) and Labor Day. Most people would consider it too far to walk to 'downtown' Laguna (meaning Forest Ave & PCH/Main Beach) from the Surf and Sand. And Yes, the shuttle runs right in front of the Surf and Sand but you may need to go half a block to the stop.

Does anyone know if the trolley runs from the Sawdust Festival to the restaurant Las Brisas? We plan to go to the festival first, have dinner at Las Brisas then on to Pageant of the Masters.

The trolley stops at Bluebird Canyon Rd. and Pacific Coast Hwy. (about 100 yards from the Surf and Sand). It's about a mile from the S & S to downtown (Main Beach). At low tide, you can walk on the beach the whole way. If you walk on the sidewalk, you can shop along the way.

And yes. The walk, though not short, is entertaining b/c you pass shops, dining and such. If you tire, you can always catch the trolley. You could also go down the stairs behind the S&S to the beach and walk--it seems faster that way to me!
