Is 2 Days enough at Universal Studios?

We'll be buying 'Front Of Line' Tickets and want to do everything at least once, and the rides at least twice :-)

Unless it has expanded a lot since we were there about 10 years ago a day will be fine

outside the main entrance there is a little street which has great 'fun' shops, restaurants etc we had finished teh park by early evening and spent the rest of the night there

2 days is 1 day too many imho - especially if you have front of the line passes. Unlike Universal in Orlando there are only a couple of rides at Universal Hollywood. In addition to the rides, there is the backlot tour and the shows.

If it is not to busy, you probably could do anything there in 5 to 6 hours really

Probably not, i would wait to purchase those until you get to the park and see how busy it will be. A monday at the end of sept should not be a time you would have to worry about front of the line passes.

There are only three rides really at the studio, the mummy rollercoaster ride, jurassic park and the new simpson ride which might will have the longest line as it will be a brand new attraction

I agree. Two days is one day too many. In my opinion, one day is one too many. lol.

Half a day would be enough, for me. But for you, a full day is enough, not two.

Will there be kids with you, or just adults? Currently a one day ticket is the same price as a two day ticket and sometimes the same price as a year-long pass. Some families stay at a Universal HOtel and then the kids can go to the park anytime, even for just a couple of hours every night. 10 to 14 year olds generally love to stay up there and have the multi-day option to come and go.
