There's a 25c Dash shuttle bus from West hollywood to the subway (tube), and then a 5 min ride up to Universal followed by a little walk. Tickets to Universal run about $55-$65 and you can usually get a "2nd day free" deal or find a $10 off coupon somewhere.

Does your $88 deal include RETURN transport to the hotel as well?

A can of Coke (empty) will get you $10-$15 off, when you bring it to the ticket counter.

Joesorce - if you are thinking of the Hollywood / West Hollywood DASH bus, it exists no longer. Was cut back at the start of August due to budget.

Hi, does anybody please know whether the "coke discount" for Universal Studio is valid for California residents ony? On the below web page I saw the note that "Tickets valid for Southern California residents within ZIP codes 90000-93599. Proof of residency will be verified at the Front Gate." I am from the Czech republic, heading to LA on September 13. Thanx for sharing any experience! Jana

it doesnt sound like you would be able to use the coke can, but perhaps they dont care if you present it at the gate, im sure someone will post with more info on that.
