Parking at Venice Beach-Easy???

I have taken your advice and will keep our hire car for our last day in LA. Is the parking easy at Venice Beach boardwalk???Where do we park and how much does it cost? We will be there Columbus Day Monday of the long weekend. Is it safe as we will

have all our luggage in the back of the car.And how long does it take to drive from there to LAX Intl Airport???Thanks everyone, 2 more sleeps before we fly out from Sydney!!!!!!

It's about 10 minutes from Venice to LAX, maybe 15 minutes.

It's safe, and there's parking everywhere. Which part of Venice did you want to park in, the northern end or the southern end? I suggest parking in a secure parking lot like the one at Navy and Main Street and walking over to the boardwalk from there. The daily rates are about $10. There are many parking lots up and down along Speedway (use google maps), the southern end lot (closest to LAX) being at Washington where it meets the beach.
