I hope you're not using Los Angeles as a base, and planning these as day trips? Nothing on your list is a day trip, except for Palm Springs, which is two hours by car, straight down the 10 freeway (the only route). San Diego is straight down the 405 or the 5, depending on starting point, and an overnight trip. Vegas is 5 hours by car, and at least an overnight trip, and it's straight out the 10 to the 15. Grand Canyon is a trip from Vegas, as is Hoover Dam, both overnighters, at least.

LA 3 nights > Vegas 3 nights > GCNP 2 nights > Palm Springs 2 nights > San Diego 3 nights > LA 1 night

Google Maps, which gives you the routes, it's basically all freeways and interstates. Easy Drives.

Naw, you can't visit a city as big as LA in one day. In a 2 week time period, I would give Los Angeles 3 days, San Diego 1, Las Vegas 4, Grand Canyon National Park 2, Palm Springs 1. That's how I'd break it down.

Driving distances: LA to Vegas- 5 hours. LA to San Diego: 2 hours. LA to Palm Springs- 2+ hrs. Vegas to GCNP: 5 hrs.

Google Maps can help in more details.
