Beach location

My husband and I are from the uk and embarking on a princess cruise out oD Los Angeles. On return we wish to spend around 3 nights at the beach prior to moving on to Vegas.

Therefore not too far from cruise terminal and airport. Around $ 60-70

Taxi fare max. We wish to people watch, go to a few bars and generally chill. Max of $ 170 per night.. Also be able to walk around and feel safe. All help appreciated

Manhattan beach is perfect, safe, clean, nice restaurants, and not too far from the airport.

Are you saying 60-70/night for a hotel? That's not possible - not at all possible.

When is this trip?

I think that was the taxi fare from the cruise ship, the hotel budget was $170 per night.

Next May? Wait until October/November to book, when hotels post lower rates and specials to grab (it happens every year).
