Meet LAX - where?

My Mom will be arriving LAX on Westjet from Canada. I will be arriving Southwest from USA. Our next flight is Air New Zealand. Is there a food court where we can meet up?

How much luggage will you have?

Alas, LAX is old school designed and most of the dining options are past security.

The newest terminal, the Tom Bradley International Terminal, located between terminals 3 and 4 has a nice food court on the upper level outside of security. Otherwise, if you are departing from Terminal 2, then maybe pick a place inside security, like the food court.

If you don't have to deal with luggage, the Encounter Restaurant is in the middle of the parking lot are between all the terminals (in the middle of the U shaped area).

Yes, there is a food court in the departures area of T2 (after security where the gates are located). This would probably be easiest for your Mom since Air New Zealand and West Jet both use T2.

La Brea Bakery is in the food court area and they make decent sandwiches.
