Good place to watch LA Kings play Rangers in G3 SC Finals?

Will be in LA on Wednesday night and looking for a cool place to watch the Stanley Cup Finals.. any recommendations? Is there an outdoor spot with big screen for fans?

I live in Toronto and the ACC has that on the outside of the arena.

I would go to LA Live, across the street from Staples Center and find a place that looks good.

Staying within walking distance from Sunset Blvd but will have a car so we can drive someplace. Would like to experience the SC finals fever!

Thank you in advance for suggestions!

Hmmm Sunset Blvd where??? It runs from the Pacific Ocean to Chinatown where it turns into Caesar Chavez Blvd.

If you are close to a subway stop, I'd ride the subway in. If not I might drive to where the Pantages Theater is, park there and ride in the subway. It should have cheaper parking and minimize the drive after a good time.

Here's a comprehensive list.

I agree. Head downtown to LA Live. But, you need to go very early to find a place. It will be packed. If the Kings are looking to clinch, only more so.

There is not likely to be any public viewing area, although they could easily do so. Years ago, there were problems with Laker fans when they did that. LAPD and city officials assume all sports fans are riff-raff looking to riot. It is a ridiculous notion with Kings fans, as their previous Stanley Cup attested.

Yes, you need to be more specific. Saying you're staying in Sunset is like saying you're staying on Yonge Street.

:) sorry - I definitely should have been more specific!

the part that's close to Hollywood Walk of fame.. Looking at the map I think the closest subway station is Hollywood/Highland.

Kings are looking to clinch now on Wednesday. Get downtown early. From Hollywood & Highland, take the Red Line downtown to 7th & Metro. Walk down Figueroa or Flower to Olympic. You'll see LA Live and Staples Center to your right.

Let us know your impressions.
