Long stay hotel apartments that allow pets?

Will be staying a month or two in the LA area in September, need a pet friendly place that also has a kitchenette if possible,

Thinking Anaheim as that's the area we know best, and we'll have our car. TRYING to keep it under $2000/month

anaheim is not the LA area, it's an hour or so away in terrible traffic (always). Do you want to spend your time in traffic? What's the purpose of being in LA for so long, and why do you want Anaheim as your base?

If you wish to stay in Anaheim, hop on over to the Orange County forum and ask there.

If you want a long-term rental here in LA, check Westside Rentals. You'll need to buy their list, which I believe is $60 for three months, but there are short term rentals available there.

You might also check vrbo.com, too. I have heard of people doing this in other destinations; you can try to negotiate with a property owner for a vacation rental on a long-term basis. If you find a vacation rental that you like, look at the property calendar. If your dates are open, e-mail the owner and see what you can negotiate.
