Solo traveler to Mendocino

I am planning to spend the weekend in Mendocino, to relax, to unwind and get away from stressful work. Any suggestion on where to stay safe by yourself? Nice place to visit solo? Good place to dine?

Yes, this is a nice place to visit by yourself - And generally a very safe area. I don't think safety is really an issue to consider when picking lodging. The biggest dangers are natural - getting swept off the rocks by big waves and that kind of thing.

Agree with November Moon.

It has been awhile since I visited, but hands down, this area is my all-time favorite place to visit. I would travel there alone in a heart beat.

My favorite lodging is in Little River -- https://www.littleriverinn.com/ A nice variety of rooms. Restaurant on the premises. Views to last a lifetime.

For in-town lodging try The Mendocino Hotel -- http://www.mendocinohotel.com/

Wow, I have lots of wonderful memories.

Enjoy!

We had a great lunch at Tote Fete Deli. Tiny place but excellent food. The fish sandwich was amazing and I can't even begin to tell you how crazy good the garlic fries were.
