5 days at Napa Valley with a 3yrs

We are planning a California vacation. 4 days at LA Disney and then rent a car and drive up to Yosemite Park for 5 days and then on the Napa Valley for another 5 days. Planning to stay at the Westin Versa.

Hoping to do one vineyard a day and some other scenic/relaxing things with a 3yr old. Any suggestions on vineyards/restaurants/scenic spots?

Sounds like fun!!! As for restaurants - Gotts Roadside will be just a walk away from the Westin. I would also ask their concierge about Hotel Nanny services - should you want a night out for yourselves.

As a local, I agree that Sterling is dubbed as a kid friendly spot - mostly because of the gondola-tram ride up to it (although some three year olds may think that it is scarry, and the worst thing as a parent is to be trapped in a tram with a child who is upset).

I have a now 5 year old and 8 year old.

St. Clement winery has a small little nook under the stairway that is perfect for kids.

If you are heading towards sonoma, a fun stop at Cornerstone might tire your 3 year old out a bit and make it so that it isn't all about boring wineries.

There was a mention of going to Gotts restaurant. There are two locations, one up valley, and one near downtown Napa. The downttown Napa one is apart of Oxbow, which is a very family friendly open marketplace. http://oxbowpublicmarket.com/

While at oxbow you can check out a book my wife and I wrote about a two kids on an adventure in Napa Valley. www.maggieandmaddy.com

Have Fun!
