Where is the aerial tram relative to Marriott Villas off Hovley Lane East? Anyone have a good link about the tram? How much cooler is it at the top than the scroching 110 this weekend?

The tram is in north part of Palm Springs. You will need to drive there. It will take about 20 minutes to drive there. It will be much cooler there than down here in the valley. We had about 110 today...tram is usually 30 degrees cooler. It is lovely...bring a lunch and picnic. Lots of hiking trails.

You definitely would need to drive there. I highly recommend it though. It was certainly a highlight of our trip.

We went in early May. It was about 90 degrees down below and in the 50s up on the mountain. The wind gusts were unbelievable. This might not sound all that pleasant, but it was a nice break from the heat. It is definitely worth doing once in your life.
