Palm Mountain Resort ???

The Palm Mountain Resort will go before the Palm Springs Architectural Advisory Committee today for review.

Plans include renovating the 122-room hotel into a 210-room luxury hotel condominium at 155 S. Belardo Road, Palm Springs.

Members of the AAC will review the project, which is in a pre-application process, at 3 p.m. today at Palm Springs City Hall

They can TRY but the City is always so divided on this kind of thing, it stalls and stalls. What it does mean tho, is this: With the Riviera, Lodge and Ramada all currently under long term construction, there will be even fewer rooms available in the area.

Thats interesting what the Casa Cody owner said about it overshadowing his property, I was thinking the exact same thing about the Chase as I started to read the article!!

Plus, it would block out mountain to views to other hotels in the area from certain angles, as well as from the Ruby's plaza.
