Tap water

We'll be living in Palm Springs for the next 4 months. Is the tap water fine for coffee and tea or should we bring a Brita filter? Thanks

Go to this website.... www.dwa.org/index.php…

then click on "Download Water Quality Report"

then you can make an informed decision if the water meets your needs or not.

Good luck!

We spend many weeks in the Palm Springs desert each year, and drink the tap water. We surely use it for the coffee makers, to make juice from concentrate, etc.

Have a nice trip.

Tap water is fine in PS. Tastes way better than at my house in San Clemente.

If you are sensitive enough about water taste to have to ask the question, you're probably going to need your own filter. Even though newer refrigerators usually have filters on the water line.

To be honest, I'd also worry about the coffeemaker. Many rental units have cheapo coffeemakers that can ruin the best water and beans.
