Ruth Hardy Park

Hi again.

We're in the process of locating a long term vacation rental and think we may've found it near Ruth Hardy Park.

Question: is this a good area? Quiet? Safe?

Thanks so much.

The Ruth Hardy Park area is easdt of the Movie Colony area. It is not a bad area, some areas withing Ruth Hardy Park are better than others though. What street is it on?

Ruth Hardy Park has just been renamed "Movie Colony East". It is generally considered a very desirable area. However, as tomtravel notes, certain areas are definitely better than others. Though it is considered "Central Palm Springs", the north edge of Ruth Hardy Park can be windier (though not horrible)

Hi...the property is near the tennis courts of the park....

Q: is this close to the airport and would you get a lot of noisy air traffic?

Thanks All.

Yes, it is quite close to the airport. Do you know how to use Google Maps? You can also use the street view function to see the street frontage of any road in that area.

One thing to be careful of (really no matter where you stay, including the poshest areas) is to not keep your garage door open, and to remove valuable items such as golf clubs from you car as soon as feasible.

Thefts from car trunks, garages, and golf carts are very common.
