Football Sunday - Where to watch? (Sports bar, casino, ?)

Hi friends and advisors,

Never been to Palm Springs but will be there in a couple weekends and would like to waste an afternoon in beautiful air conditioned blitz watching some football. I am not sure what Palm Springs has to offer in this department. If you've been there or live there, and know what I mean when I say that missing my game is not an option, please let me know what you recommend!

Thanks. (Don't worry we are staying 5 days and I will be sure to see some sites other than the tv and empty beer mugs!)

Are you actually IN Palm Springs of somewhere else in the valley?

Further down the valley in La Quinta at 111 and Washington is the Beerhunter. Tons of TV's and something like 100 beers available. The place can get pretty crazy if a good game is on.

I like the new Burgers and Beer in La Quinta. in the Costco center.Again, lots of TV's at the bar, and every table has its own tv in the restaurant part. They also have another location in Rancho Mirage. They have happy hour 7 days/week which is a plus! Try the RV Nachos on the happy hour menu.By itself its a meal.

Used to say Beer Hunter, but it's so busy sometimes you can't get in the door.

We now like Burgers and Beer, it's really nice.

We were just there this past week and just like you were trying to find a great place to watch NFL football. For us it was a Monday night though. We ended up dropping into Las Casuelas right down town for dinner, drinks and the game. It was the perfect spot. The food was yummy, the drinks were cold and the service was great. There were a few tv's around and it was easy to get a good seat to watch the game. They gave out tickets for prize draws between quarters and everyone was in good spirits. This isn't really a sports bar but it's an upbeat, happy place with indoor and outdoor seating to watch the game. They even had a complimentary buffet with snacks during the game. Who can beat beer and nachos?
