Is it too hot to hike around Palm Springs in late May?

It's warm, about 80-90 degrees this week, and will only get hotter, but if you hike first thing in the morning it will be nice.

We're going out the end of the month and will probably hike Indian Canyons, early.

Have fun.

It has been over 100 degrees many days so far these past weeks.....so it may be too hot for you. By all means....early morning hikes would be best.

Just go early in the morning. The indian canyons have the benefit of palm groves and streams.

If you want to escape the heat, take the tram up the mountain and hike among the pine trees.
