Greyhound Bus.

Takes about 7 hours and is $50 with an advance purchase.

You posted your question twice. On your other post I gave some additional info on Greyhound, plus flying on US Airways to PS via Phoenix, or flying Southwest to Ontario and taking a shuttle from there.

We are flying in from UK to Vegas so we don't want to do anymore unnecessary journeys. Have not yet been able to find these routes with Greyhound.

You found the Greyhound Web site and were able to use it, but couldn't find routes from Las Vegas, NV to Palm Springs (shows a transfer in San Bernardino)? Then rent a car, fly (just an hour's flight Vegas to Ontario), or wait until you get to the U.S. and phone Greyhound. Really can't make it simpler than that.

Is there some reason you don't want to rent a car?

I just used the link provided by drill-n-fill below. It worked just fine to find a bus trip from Las Vegas to Palm Springs.

There was a route that had only 1 transfer and took 6hrs 15 minutes and cost $37. It takes about 4 hours to drive it by car. The bus didn't look bad at all to me.
