Wine Rangler Tours ?

I am planning a quick weekend trip. We have not been to the Paso Robles area before and I was thinking about a wine tour so we don't have to drive. Anyone have experience with the Wine Rangler tours?

Overall, the Wine Wrangler provides a comfortable ride to wineries and they serve a nice box lunch consisting of freshly prepared sandwiches, fruit, cookie/brownie, etc. The drivers are very friendly. The one caveat I would mention is although their website says you can tell them what wineries you want to visit, this option really only is guaranteed on one of their custom Private tours. Otherwise, you will be taken to what the driver thinks is a good collection of wineries based on his experience, the winery's acceptance on tours, and an a nod to the overall group of travelers in their van. Nevertheless, if it's your first visit to Paso Robles, you will be sure to visit some good wineries.

Hi -

We did the Grapeline tour and enjoyed not having to drive. We went to 4 pre-selected wineries (that take tours). We did this on Saturday then on Sunday I drove and my husband tasted at the wineries we really liked from our last trip.

Enjoy Paso - wish I was back there.
