Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum

So after living in the Bay Area for about 30 years, I figure it's time to visit the Rosicrucian Museum.

I have no idea how big it is. Does 2 or 3 hours in the museum sound about right? I tend to look at things, and not breeze through.

It's a strange place, seemingly placed at random in San Jose.

Most (if not all) of the stuff is fake, but it's worth a 2 hour visit for the architecture and pretty good quality of the experience.

"Yeah, except for the zillion billboards along Hwy 101 begging people to go there ;-) "

OK, when I drive down 101 on Saturday, I'm bringing my little hand-held counter.

Because Harvey Spencer Lewis put it there. For those not familiar... the mystic and cultish Rosicrucian Order and its history and link to San Jose...
