Sebastian's General Store on the west side of Highway 1 across from Hearst Castle makes awesome sandwiches. You can get your order to go and drive around the corner to San Simeon Pier and enjoy your lunch overlooking the water.

I agree with Kibblesmom - as long as you're not there on a Monday, when Sebastion's is closed. You also can check out Sunset Grill in San Simeon (about 5 minutes south of the Castle entrance on the east side of Hwy 1) for a varied menu - from pizza to sandwiches. But Sebastion's store is unique and the food plentiful and good.

Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill is just minutes away in Cambria. Very good food with pretty oceanviews, they have a spacious outdoor patio area there. :)
