Smoke in Santa Ynez

We have a trip scheduled for next Thursday to the area, but are rethinking based on the fires. We are thinking about having dinner in Isla Vista then going to spend the evening at Chumash, and golf at Rancho San Marcos. Can anyone tell me how the smoke is in those areas?

The smoke has been coming & going, but not bothersome on this side of the coastal mountains.

Be sure to note that Hwy 154 is probably not going to be open, but HWY 101 up the coast is fine.

You would then come through Buellton, up Hwy 246 to Solvang, and then on to the Chumash & Rancho San Marcos.

Isla Vista & Goleta/SB have been getting the brunt of the smoke. Hopefully the fog will help, and the winds have died down a lot since last week. We are having hot temps here - high 80's, maybe up to 100.

Have a good trip!
