Hotels or B&Bs that don't require a 2 night Minimum?

We are trying to book a room for a wedding in August and can't find anything under $400 that doesn't require a 2 night minimum. Any suggestions? We would be willing to drive 30-40 min out if needed.

I just typed your details (a random day in August) into www.staysonoma.com and squillions of no minimum options came up. Might be worth a looksie.

I just did the same search and all had a 2-3 night min except one hotel in Santa Rosa and another in Bodega Bay. That might be a bit far.

Where is the wedding? Is it at the Cornerstone?

And what is the date?

Maybe someone can help?

Did you look in Glen Ellen and Kenwood? You may get lucky there.

If you could get into the Flamingo Resort in Santa Rosa, that is at the north end of Sonoma Valley, and though a bit of a drive it would be a comfortable place to stay.

Which town is the wedding in? Sonoma County is fairly large -

Summer rates in the area are just plain too high in the summer.

I would suggest Rohnert Park - just a few miles south of Santa Rosa (however I am not sure if it makes sense until I know where the wedding is.)

Rohnert Park has a Best Western....

and you can book for one night...

Here is the trip advisor reviews - sounds like there may be a tad amount of road noise as close to 101 -

Overall it gets good ratings (yeah - not in the middle of vineyards but figure with the wedding, you are just looking for a nice night's sleep in a comfortable room.).

It is August 11 at the Westerbroke Ranch in Sonoma. I finally found a B&B in Napa that I was able to book through a 3rd party site. The funny part is that it was for a B&B that required a 2 night Min if you called them directly. I am still going to keep a look out for something closer. Thanks for all the tips!

Glad you found something in Napa. Petaluma is a little bit closer and probably has less expensive lodging options. You would save only 5 - 10 minutes of driving though staying in Petaluma.

Of course, your best choice is Sonoma. Did you check the Jack London Lodge in Glen Ellen?
