Q about grapeline tour

When I checked their website, it seemed like you were on the tour the entire time--i.e. you travel with the same 20(?) or so people, stopping at each vineyard for a set amount of time, and then (depending on the tour) stop for lunch as well. Is this accurate? Is there any shuttle/ trolley/ wagon/ whatever that just goes between the different wineries every so often and allows people to get on/off whenever they are through at a particular vineyard? A friend of mine mentioned a shuttle between the vineyards that we could take, but I dont know if she was referring to something like grapeline, or something that was more akin to just a regular shuttle.

Also, where are the pickup points for grapeline? We will probably be staying at Pechanga, maybe Pala. Is there a pickup point there?

Yep, you figured it out. The grapeline is a sort of organized "tour" of the wineries. No, there is not a shuttle between the wineries. Yes, you can get picked up at Pechanga, not sure about Pala, but probably. You will enjoy the wineries here, they are very layed back and not overly absorbed with themselves, but still because of the micro-climate, produce excellent wines. Over the last few years there have been several new wineries/vineyards open that have upped the quality significantly.
