My brother and I did the "Grapeline" tour right after Thanksgiving.

Frankly we were very disappointed and wanted off about halfway through the tour. "picnic in a vineyard" turned out to be in dark and cold vinyl tent- when sitting outside in the sun would have been lovely. Several folks on the bus turned into drunken 50 year old frat boys who continually screamed at the top of their lungs for the last couple hours of the tour, standing on their seats and encouraging their girlfriends (and everyone else) to do a "pole dance" at the front of the bus. If the company is going to cater to this kind of clientele they should at least give everyone else some kind of warning on their website- like "Come get blasted on our really cool party shuttle where we encourage you to lose all your inhibitions and act like a teenager in front of a trapped audience." Save yourself a lot of money and just drive yourself around- there are plenty of nice vineyards to visit in Temecula.

Personally, we've been on the grapeline tour twice and had great experiences. We never saw any drunk 50 year olds. Just a nice day with many fun people enjoying the wineries. The grapeline tour is not very expensive and well worth the cost especially if its your first time to the area. Enjoy!
