I am wondering if there are organized bus trips to Temecula from anywhere in the Palm Desert area.

Hi j2mceneil.

I am not aware of organized bus trips to anywhere from Palm Desert!

Most people who stay out in the desert have their own cars to use to drive from place to place.

You can drive to Temecula and THEN use one of the local tour services to go to different wineries if you don't want to drive and taste at the same time.

Try Cardiff tours out of Palm Desert. They have limo services as well as bus tours.

Lots of retirement communities in the desert have tours to various sites around southern CA , if you live in a community like that.

The only regularly scheduled tour buses that I'm aware of are through Pechanga Casino which - of course- takes you to Pechanga Casino in Temecula, and not the wineries.

However, looking at their schedule, they do not have a route from Palm Desert.

It looks as though Cardiff mentioned above, comes to the wine country for holidays - like Mother's Day. They are probably your best bet - give them a call and ask them about other trips into Temecula.

Just an FYI - Temecula is not known for public transportation options either within the valley itself or from outside of the area. The best way to get here is via private car or shuttle or limo company like Cardiff. There's a very minute set of buses that go to/from the beach, but that's about it. The bus stops at our local mall and is really inconvenient.

Hi JW:

We are a tour and event company based in Temecula since 1993 (Destination Temecula).

As others have mentioned, unless there is a service we are unaware of, there are no regularly scheduled public tours from the desert unless you happen upon a special event excursion.

We do offer an inclusive, private option in a vehicle dedicated to you with round-trip transportation, wine tasting at three wineries, a gourmet picnic lunch served to you, all taxes and gratuities. If of interest, research our listing on this site, which includes a link to our webpage, and call us to have additional questions answered.

Whether with us or some other way, we hope you are able to visit Temecula during your stay!
