Condos in Beaver Creek? Restaurants? :)

My family of 4 is looking for a 2 bedroom, ski in/ski out condo in Beaver Creek for Spring Break.

We were looking at a unit in Borders Lodgings but wanted the opinion of someone who knows the scoop on the scene there. What are some condos with good rates, free shuttle, concierge, ski in/ski out, that are close to the village?? Thank you so much!! Also any other details such as where we should eat, etc, would be awesome!!

There's some reviews posted here on TA for you to read over at tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g33311-d126238-…

And restaurant reviews at tripadvisor.com/Restaurants-g33311-Beaver_Cr…

Hope that helps.

I might add that on any of the reviews there's a way to ask the person who wrote the review for more info - just click on the little line saying "Ask xxxx about . . . " and TA will allow you to send a private message to them and they can then respond to you. Works well for more details than the review might have.

Beaver Creek is truly spectacular. Hope you have a great trip.

To me Borders is out of the loop in Beaver Creek. If you want the experience there, you have to be in or near the village. There are many options for that. I could list a bunch of them but it's just as easy to get a map and select something that's truly in the village. Walking to and from your unit to dinner is a far better experience than getting on a shuttle. Nothing against the shuttles (or dial a ride, which is the best kept secret in town). But It's a lot cooler hanging at the St. James than it is at Borders.

Have fun.

Thank you!! Is St James a ski in/ski out? My husband really wants that option.

Hello you can ski into the village and walk to St. James

A very short walk to the lifts but the exact truth

Golden Eagle is excellent for Lunch or Dinner

If you plan to ski Vail then a great choice is Beaver Creek West Condominiums as they have a free shuttle service to Vail and BC and is close to everything in Avon

the Official Village guide is here

There are lists and maps for you there !

If you get tired of all the gourmet restaurants, try Old Forge Pizza (edit: it's not really around BC. Either Vail or Edwards. But totally worth it!!!)

I used to have an addiction to Blue Moose Pizza, but Old Forge is really really good!

If you like coffee & a great breakfast, try Loaded Joe's at least once!

I would also strongly suggest that you have dinner in Vail Village one night - I like the atmosphere better, and it's bigger so more choices for food.

How about the Elkhorn Lodge Condos? Are they better than Borders?

Both are Great choices as both are close to the lifts as close as like 40 yards ......

We are excited you are coming to Beaver Creek Village

Be sure and meet Beaver Skier the new Mascot of the village!

Loaded Joes is simple and also a good breakfast choice if you are staying in Avon

As is Bob's Place also in Avon

I like the Route 6 diner too if we are talking out of the village places to eat

When do you plan to arrive and I will post the events that are happening for ya here
