Walk along the Pearl Street Mall, a pedestrain mall, lots of great street performers, shops and many places to eat.

If you only have a few hour sin Boulder, definitely spend it on the Pearl Street Mall. As the above poster stated, the mall has great shops, lots of street musicians and performers and tons of restaurants. The Boulder Cafe is kind of fun but not that great for kids. There are a couple of "chain" restaurants, like Old Chicago, that cater to kids of all ages. You will have your choice though of sushi, Italian, Indian, deli's, american etc.

Have fun.

We always like the Medeterranean with our kids. Outstanding food, tapas and reasonable prices. Something for every appetite. It is on Walnut, one block south of Pearl street. Much better food then many places on the mall.

One newer choice is Salt, at the corner of Pearl and 9th. Cool place where the old Tom's Tavern used to be.

have a great trip!

Med, Rio, or The Cork (Pepper Steak is outstanding) are all great. The Cork is a little NE of pearl street.

We love the 14th Street Cafe at "social hour". it's right off the corner of Pearl Street at 14th and their hamburger with fries for $6/pp can't be beat!

Social hour there is usually 3-6 PM.

WHY only a few hours??????????????? it's a great place to stay .
