Girlfriend & I are headed to Breck (again! woohoo!) mid-late September.
No stranger to the town, but only visited in Summer & Winter prior.
Could anyone recommend any particularly memorable hikes in the area that are:
-Good for viewing Fall foliage
-Amazing vistas of Ten Mile Range/photo worthy mtns.
-Good spots for either sunrise or sunset photography
An easy to moderate day hike is our ideal situation, but if it's as easy as pulling off the road to get a good shot that's cool too.
Seems like there's so many choices, I need some experienced advice to narrow it down!
From research, looks like Boreas Pass or Independence Pass would be worthwhile.
Not opposed to taking a drive if it means a beautiful view.
Is making the drive to Maroon Bells from Breck REALLY worth it? If so, would it be jam packed w/people on a weekday in late September?
I've never seen Aspens in Fall color, so I'd like a couple frame-worthy shots from the trip.
Any advice would be most appreciated!
